One of the featured hip hop groups on the Thug Life Army Records unique Tupac tribute cd ‘In The Shadow of an Icon’, will make their internet radio premiere tonight, with their own show.

San Antonio, Texas based hip hop duo 1223, consisting of John-John and mr. sylk, whose track “Wish I Knew", placed first in VH-1's International Songwriting Competition, will premiere their weekly internet radio show "Compliments of 1223" starting today, May 15, 2008 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Central Standard Time. You can login and listen at www.sa-urban.com.

The call in number is 210-200-8540. If you ever had any questions about 1223, (John-John and mr. sylk), their music, or anything in general about the message in their music, this will be your time to call in and ask this fast rising respectable hip hop duo.
