Waymond "Suave" Anderson, a prison inmate serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole for murder, has testified that he recanted his previous allegations in the case of the murder of NY hip hop MC Notorious B.I.G. because of ‘threats’ he received from hip hop / rap mogul Marion ‘Suge’ Knight.

According to Anderson, (an inmate at California's Corcoran State Prison); in his testimony Thursday the ‘threats’, were written messages from Hip Hop mogul and rap entrepreneur Marion ‘Suge’ Knight wrapped in plastic; and were supposedly passed to him by Chuck Phillips, a Pulitzer Prize winning reporter who at that time was working for the LA Times. Anderson was in court on Thursday for a hearing examining evidence that he claims will prove his innocence in the 1993 murder he is convicted of committing.

Anderson had implicated former LAPD Officer David Mack in the slaying of the NY hip hop MC Notorious B.I.G., aka Christopher Wallace, in the 2007 Wallace family lawsuit against the city of LA.

Anderson’s a convicted murderer serving life whose credibility has been questioned by prosecutors. He is seeking parole. Before his trial, a judge found him to be mentally incompetent and sent him to Patton State Hospital, a mental facility near San Bernardino. There Anderson escaped, allegedly with the help of a hospital employee, but was captured at his sister's house and brought to trial, court records show.

So here is a man serving a life sentence, with mental issues, seeking parole, accusing a Pulitzer Prize winning reporter, Chuck Phillips, and a notable hp hop mogul, Marion ‘Suge’ Knight of ‘threatening him’; seems his credibility as a witness may be tarnished.

In a www.PR-Inside.com press release Phillips says of the allegations, "That never happened. I''m flabbergasted by this whole thing. This is the ultimate betrayal."

*Pulitzer Prize winning reporter Chuck Philips has previously written numerous articles on Anderson's case, suggesting he might be innocent.

*Hip Hop mogul Marion ‘Suge’ Knight has had many allegations lodged against him since he started Death Row Records, and since the death of hip hop icon and social activist Tupac Shakur (2Pac). Most are unfounded.
