West Coast Bay area native; rap and hip-hop legend Celly Cel is back again in the media spotlight and will release his first DVD production on August 2, 2005 titled "Rap Life – Behind The Scenes,"  by Realside Records.

 

Born Marcellus McCarver,west coast rap legend Celly Cel grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and released his first album in 1994, "Heat 4 Yo Azz." In 1995, he released "Killa Kali," his best-selling album to date which featured the classic, "It's Goin'' Down." After several solo album releases and a few artist collaborations, Celly Cel did a one album project with Boss Up Muzik in 2002 and released his fourth solo project, "Wsong''z U Can''t Find," which featured C-Bo, Beesh, E-40, B-Legit and Homicide among other fellow rap artists.

Earlier this year, Celly released his follow-up project, “It’z Real Out Here” which featured the smash radio hit, “I Want You.”

Come take a ride with West Coast Rap Legend Celly Cel as he gives you an up close and personal look into the life of a rap star.  The DVD shows live performances and radio interviews of Celly plus scenes of Celly Cel signing autographs, appearing in nightclubs and functions with some of today’s hottest rap artists, NFL players and actors. 

 

The new DVD showcase Celly's outstanding ability to marry clever rhyme with lyrics and will feature guest appearances from Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, Jamie Foxx, E-40, Mack 10, Outlawz, Yukmouth, Baby Bash, Cbo, Richie Rich, B-Legit, MC Hammer and many others.
