IN BINKY's NEIGHBORHOOD at 4:47 PM ON SUNDAY

Well, Kansas City just lost and I am waiting for the Los Angeles Lakers to take out the Houston Rockets in 1 hour. Relaxing on this nice Sunday evening and ready to start writing.

Big week with Obama taking the presidency as well as the gays marching all over Los Angeles over proposition 8. Blocking freeway exits and everything. So now that we have a new president to take office in January, we still have a lot of mess to clean up. Regardless of a major change last week, looks like we are still going to the dumps with the economy. Stay positive and prayerful. We’ll get threw it.

Prop 8 was a bomb waiting to explode. I do have one problem regardless of how I or you voted. The gays always state that they want their civil rights like the blacks had theirs. Please understand this and make a note of it because I am coming with concrete fact. Once explained, we should really be able to understand the whole picture. Ok... Blacks are a race of people. Gays are a lifestyle. We can debate until the cows come home on rather a person is born gay or not. I personally don''t believe so and I am solid in my belief. So to compare a race of people to a lifestyle is unfair. My personal opinion. Now before someone disagrees with me, relax, sleep on it, wake up & then make that decision. I truly believe you will then understand my view point. My personal opinion has nothing to do with www.ThugLifeArmy.com . I read where Beyonce stated that she wants to be known as an ICON or something like that. Stay humble sister. You’ve been doing a good job at that for years. I think that’s our job to decide, don''t you ?

Jerhyl Busby passed last week and my prayer goes out to his family. Great executive over at Motown. I knew someone that knew Jerhyl and always had positive stuff to say about him. He played a major roll in keeping the legacy of Motown going at that time. Rest in peace Mr. Busby.

Had a great day at church (Faithful Central Bible Church) today and thought that our guess pastor was great. I forget her last name, but her first name was Pat. She was awesome. The pastor of the church, Bishop Ulmer was out of town but wanted the whole church to pray for our new president. I thought it was a great ideal but I thought of something after we had prayed. I thought wow, this is the first time I remember praying for a president even though I have missed many days, and they may have prayed for past presidents. I sure hope we were praying for some of those other presidents like both the Bush's and Reagan. They need prayer as well (some more than others)... Jokin but serious...Nah, jokin... I guess ? huh ?

Well, I missed hip hop MC rap artist and friend Squeak Ru for this write up (5 question interview). He will be with us next week. Yaw stay up & keep God first in your life and pray for me folks. I need it.
