Although prosecutors plan to now take the case to a grand jury, at least for now the charges against hip hop mogul Marion ‘Suge’ Knight in Las Vegas have been dropped.

The hip hop mogul was accused in August of punching his then girl friend, Melissa Isaac, in the back of the head while the two were driving down a street in Las Vegas near the Las Vegas Strip during an argument.

Reports at the time said the hip hop mogul and founder of the original Death Row Records, Marion ‘Suge’ Knight, had a knife and the drugs Ecstasy and hydrocodone on him when he was arrested.

Mr. Knight has been out on 19 thousand dollar bail since the alleged incident happened.
