Here is an update on the current project from grass roots hip hop record label Thug Life Army Records – In The Shadow of an Icon.

Due to either the distributors: lack of understanding of ‘web presence’ and marketing, or their lack of the hip hop community’s want and need for quality hip hop (instead of the garbage that they are force feeding us), or they are just plain out right hating – the project is not in all stores in all areas of the country. We would like to thank all of you that have wrote and told us you can not find it in your areas.

Thug Life Army Records would like to apologize to everyone who have been searching out the album and wanted everyone to know the album can be ordered from the label directly on the label’s web site http://thuglifearmyrecords.com and the album is also available for digital download on all the major download sites.

You can purchase this double CD set online from the labels web site for only $12.00 and Thug Life Army Records will pay for shipping 1st class!!!

Again Thug Life Army Records would like to apologize for the lack of product in all areas. With over 25 hip hop artists reppin 25 different hip hop communities of the country, it is hard to understand how some who claim they know and understand the record industry could not make sure all the areas were covered with the project. Seems to be just another example of how those who claim to know the music industry really have no clue about who and why people buy projects. But still they will sit back and complain that sales are down; ‘Board room hip hoppers’ – the no clue gang.

Again the project is available on http://thuglifearmyrecords.com for 12 dollars and on all major download sites and also on Amazon and other on line retailers.

If you are a jobber or a one stop and would like to get wholesale prices on the project contact Frank Miranda at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Thank you for all the support. Help us make this a great release of meaningful hip hop music.
