"T.I.'s Road to Redemption:45 Days to Go" show review by AKuhn – ThugLifeArmy.com staff member / Hip-Hop artist T.I. has helped create a new show for MTV scheduled to air tonight February 10th at 9 P.M. After being afforded the opportunity to screen the early, I can say this is a program that most hip hop heads will enjoy and it will be interesting to see how it progresses in the future episodes. I would encourage everyone to tune in and check out this unique show.

The show, "T.I.'s Road to Redemption", takes a step away from the Hip-Hop lifestyle of T.I., and into his karmic persona. The show draws attention to the hip hop stars March sentencing for weapons charges, and brings insight as to what T.I. has to do before the trial as well as what he could face if he doesn't.

He faces up to 30 years in prison which would severely cripple his Hip-Hop career. However from the time he was released on bond to the time of the trial if he completes 1000 hours of community service that sentence can be reduced.

In addition to his community service T.I. has chosen to help 7 kids get off the path they are heading down and turn their life around. So in this first episode he helps a struggling teen named Pee Wee find his way off the streets of hustling and onto a legitimate career path.

Overall I think the show is just a way to bring attention to his already rising hip-hop career, However i do like the premise of teaching the youth of today that there's more to life than doing what they are doing, and its not too late to make the right decisions.

If they want a better life all they gotta do is work at it. Big ups to the creators for that idea in the show. As for a rating I'll give the show a 6.5/10. It conveyed T.I.'s story of reckoning and how he's preparing for the challenges ahead. As well as gave the viewers, especially the younger viewers, a message of inspiration and knowledge.

The only bad thing I found is that the story of Pee Wee seemed scripted, and he seemed to be enjoying hanging with T.I. as opposed to learning from the advise given to help him, but that’s this viewers opinion check it out for yourself February 10th at 9 P.M.

Overall Score: 6.5 / 10
