Visit Florida Presents The Hip Hop Ministry Tour featuring Kurtis Blow and The Trinity. The Tour began May 12, 2007 in Orlando FL and ends in Berlington, VT on July 8th, 2007. The mission is to spread the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Hip Hop Ministry Tour is sponsored by Visit Florida and will feature special guest appearances by Noah, by Fla.vor Alliances Urban D, and West Coast Artist Tha Gim.

Kurtis Blow Walker is rap’s first hip hop artist to sign with a major record label, first certified gold rap song (The Breaks) as well as rap's first millionaire. During the eighties he was very instrumental in bridging the gap in rap music from the hip hop underground to the masses. Not only was he successful as an artist, Kurtis was also very successful as a producer, working with hip hop pioneers like Bob Dylan, Whitney Houston, Menudo, Stephanie Mills, The Barkays, Bob Marley, The Commodores, Prince, Sheila E., Kool & The Gang, Cameo, Russell Simmons, Run-D.M.C, and The Fat Boys and in 1984 he went on to co-star in the cult classic film “Krush Groove” directed by Michael Schultz. Also for the films soundtrack he recorded and released the hit single “If I Ruled The World” which was later remade by Nas and Lauryn Hill. Minister Kurtis Walker is now a licensed minister and preaches mighty sermons for God around the country.

The Hip Hop Ministry Tour is also designed to promote the 2 upcoming releases by Kurtis Blow Walker. The first “Hip Hop Ministry” a compilation CD released on May 8th, 2007 on Holy Hip Hop/EMI, and “Just Do It” Kurtis Blow and The Trinity Debut CD. The Trinity consists of Kurtis Blow himself, Louisville KY first successful rap artist Chris Flow (fka Rocwell C) and Mixx Master Lounge Host Ricky B. The Just Do It CD will feature special guest appearances by Ted Mills of Blue Magic, T-Bone, Mr. Solo of the Gospel Gangstaz, B.B.Jay, Blue Chip of the Righteous Riders, and Pettidee.

Ricky B., also a filmmaker and minister says, “The tour will be a great opportunity to promote the music, and ministry but first and foremost we want to see lives changed.” Chris Flow, a former drug dealer, and a former gangsta rap artist now turned minister after a life drugs and a prison sentence says “The Hip Hop Ministry Tour" is a God sent ministry that will bring the Hip Hop generation to salvation.” Also Ricky B. and Chris Flow will be releasing solo projects in the near future as well. On August 14th, 2007 Ricky B. will release his newest solo CD entitled “Great Gain” and in early 2008 he well release a film of the same title.

Chris Flow will be working on releasing his sophomore CD entitled “Kentucky Fried Faith” sometime in the near future. For a list of events, releases, and dates, check out www.trinityhiphop.com
