The UK hip-hop group Street Politiks eagerly awaited debut album entitled, ‘A Pound and a Promise’ has finally touched down and been made available to the public.

The UK MOBO award winners, Street Politiks have released their groundbreaking debut album, ‘A Pound and a Promise’.

Taking 1 year in the making, the S.P. gang have chosen quality over quantity and delivered a 12 track (+ 2 bonus tracks) debut banger with production coming courtesy of some of the best hip-hop and rap producers around. Production comes form Tuneheads (DMX, Cam’ron, Rough Riders), Woo (B2K, Gravediggaz, Deathrow Records), JD (So Solid, Lisa Mafia), Konkrete Productions (Wayne Marshall, Big Ben, Bunzi D, Stock), Specialist Moss, Sean Hollywood, Mac 1, and Z-Bias.

Aside from Triple, Charms, Chunky, J-Biggs & Lady Flossa, expect to hear features from the cream of UK and US talent including 2004 UK Urban Music award winner, Ayak, Swiss (So Solid Crew), Temp Man, Lefty, Hollywood, Keisha White and South Queen’s underground king, Grafh.

Not only are we treated to a first class album of potential hits, S.P have included a DVD as part of the package.

This second disc gives everyone a chance to own all 7 of their videos along with exclusive behind the scenes footage that includes interviews, freestyles and the infamous ‘Channel U: Illout Show’ session featuring the ‘Lean Back’ freestyle with Triple & Grafh.

‘A Pound and a Promise’ will be available at all good record outlets soon, with pre-orders being taken at www.urbankonkrete.com  (e-mail: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it )
