West coast hip-hop artist The Game has filed a lawsuit against Koch and Fast Life Records over earlier hip-hop music he recorded with west coast legendary hip-hop and rap entrepreneur and artist JT The Bigga Figga.

Game is also seeking sales figures for the albums sold and an injunction against Koch and Fast Life Records to prevent any further distribution of these recordings.

In a statement from Koch we were told; “Hip hop artist The Game and his manager, Jimmy Rosemond, have filed a lawsuit against KOCH Records and Fastlife Records and some news outlets have reported on the false allegations brought on by the Game and his manager, Jimmy Rosemond,” Koch representatives said.

“Fastlife Records legally obtained and purchased the rights to early recordings by hip hop artist The Game. Our rights to these recordings are rock solid and legal, which Game’s manager is well aware of, especially since Game signed these contracts,” the added.

“We wish Game all the best,” says Koch.

So it seems this is really a non-issue but we will see how it turns out.

KOCH Records is a division of KOCH Entertainment, the fastest-growing music company and the market leader among independents in North America and is the Top Independent Label based on the number of Charted Titles according to Billboard.
