Mami Chula’s latest mixtape release features music by hip-hop and rap artists from the Disturbing Tha Peace camp. Rap and hop artists Shawna, Rick Ross, Tango Red, Too Short, Young Face, Field Mob and a host of others are all present. The Confessions Mixtape is the first in a series of many, with all the elements - hot music and great production however the various anonymous confessions is what make this mixtape so special.  

Mami Chula, Core DJ, Murda Mami, on air talent and mixer for Radio One’s Hot 107.9FM, the ATL’s hottest hip-hop, rap and R&B station, is set to celebrate the release of her Confessions Mixtape and Cinco de Mayo in Miami at an undisclosed location on Friday, May 5 - Radio One’s Spring Fest Weekend.

While in Miami, in honor of her Latino Mexican Heritage, Mami Chula will also celebrate Cinco de Mayo. “Cinco de Mayo is a celebration party for freedom and liberty, for me it’s also a celebration of both my Caucasian and Mexican heritage”; “The Mexicans defeating the French may have benefited Americans as well” explains Mami Chula.

Mami Chula’s mixtape release and Cinco de Mayo celebration will be held in conjunction with The Cocktail Lounge, an invitation only party held on an exclusive South Beach Rooftop on Friday, May 5, 2006 from 7pm – 12am and is produced by E. Mason & Associates and Ya Daddy Management/Young Entertainment Group. The Cocktail Lounge is sponsored in part by Hpnotiq, Sedgwick and Cedar, Warren Henry Automobiles, IIAMG, Akademiks, Ace Magazine, Chocolate Gurl Happy and Betty’s Soul Food Restaurant and Barbecue.
