West Coast hip hop rap artist Turf Talk is reppin’ LYAY! Translation: from Los Angeles to the Bay Area.

Hip Hop has been anticipating the new Turf Talk album ‘West Coast Vaccine (The Cure)’ and the wait is finally over. hip hop pioneer E-40, Sick Wid It Records and Turf Talk are set to release West Coast Vaccine (The Cure) April 3. West Coast Vaccine is the powerful follow up to Turf Talk The Street Novelist and Turf Talk Brings The Hood Colabilation.

Turf Talk is unique with his California connections representing all areas from the gangsta life of Los Angeles all the way to the Bay Area hip hop scene. Turf Talk was born Demar Bernstein, in Vallejo Ca in 1979.  He spent his early years in Pomona (an area outside of Los Angeles) where he led a life of gang involvement and hustling. In his late teens, Turf Talk reconnected with his roots moving back to his hometown of Vallejo. He has taken his experiences and created a style to appeal to all of California and beyond.

Turf Talks cousin and mentor E-40, The Ambassador of The Bay Area, is a Vallejo hip hop pioneer who has spent more than a decade perfecting his own idiosyncratic version of California Gangsta Rap. E-40 is signed with Lil Jon and BME Recordings, and has taken his Platinum status to the next level over the last year. He still owns and runs his independent label Sick Wid It Records and 2007 will be the biggest year yet releasing albums from Turf Talk, Droop-E, Bay Bridges, The Mossie, The D.B.’Z, Nump and many more.

Turf Talks ‘West Coast Vaccine (The Cure)’ features appearances by hip hop and rap pioneers and notables such as E-40, Too $hort, Yukmouth, Freeway, B-Legit & newcomers Killer Kees and Young Phenom ‘the gangsta God’.

Production on Turf Talks ‘West Coast Vaccine (The Cure)’ features production from Rick Rock, Droop-E, Nick Fury, Jake-1 and Dow Jones.

The album will be in stores April 3rd on Sick Wid It Records – be sure to watch for this release.
