Legendary veteran rap producer/songwriter, MC Spice, funds new nonprofit organization aimed at promoting nonviolence through Hip-Hop's four physical elements: Emceeing, Graffiti, Deejaying and Breakdancing. The model is the culture's four spiritual principles: Peace, Unity, Love and Havin'' Fun.

Targeting inner city youths, AHhead.Org (Advancing Hip-Hop for education, Activism and Development) has implemented street block parties and cookouts to further promote peace in the community.

Tapped to speak at this summer's bi-weekly peace events in Boston's high-crime neighborhoods are: female rap artist MC Lyte, Boston's Mayor Thomas Menino, hip-hop and rap legends Melle Mel, Afrika Bambaata and KRS-One.

Area youths will perform positive Hip-Hop songs and the AHhead.org ''Moving Hip-Hop Forward'' award will be given to youth leaders for their contribution to the empowerment of inner city youths. AHhead. Org's main purpose is to harness the fire inside each individual youth and point it in a positive direction for spiritual, economic, political and social success.

Dr. Martin Luther King's nonviolence method and model is AHhead.Org's approach to promoting peace through Hip-Hop, and the organization urges media professionals and the music industry to stop it's defamation of Hip-Hop Culture. With various city and statewide projects in the works, AHhead.org promises to promote the culture's positive impact on the community and abroad.
