Here we go again: In December of last year (07) U.S. District Judge Florence Marie Cooper threw the lawsuit of the late hip hop notable Notorious B.I.G.; the Wallace family, out of court claiming the family of the murdered hip hop star did not file a claim against the city and a disgraced Los Angeles cop, believed to be involved with the 1997 murder, by an agreed deadline.

Court papers reveal that on May 8th 2008 the family of the slain hip hop notable Notorious B.I.G., have successfully appealed their wrongful death case brought against Los Angeles city officials.

The Wallace family has been given another chance by U.S. District Judge Florence Marie Cooper to file a new lawsuit against LA city officials, as long as the paperwork is completed within 20 days.

This is the second time the Wallace family have tried to hold L.A. authorities to account for B.I.G.'s death. A judge declared a mistrial in a 2002 wrongful death case after learning Los Angeles police officials had withheld evidence.

Both the murders of Notorious B.I.G. and the murder of his hip hop rival Tupac Shakur (2Pac) are still unsolved to this day.
