Allen Iverson

The East beat the West 125-115 at the NBA All-Star game, and Allen Iverson took Most Valuable Player honors.

The NBA All-Star Game was televised on TNT and some of the commentary was amusing as well as informative.

Charles Barkley said he hoped who ever got the half time show together is getting their resume together. “This is a hip-hop weekend not a NASCAR race” as a comment on the half time show at the all star game that showcased country music acts.

Destiny’s Child was the only group close to the hip-hop culture that performed.

In the crowd was rap artist P.Diddy and Nelly and a few others who lined the front-row seats across from the Eastern Conference bench.

What was once a big event dominated by the hip-hop culture has given way this year to country music.

The game was a great match, as it stayed close the entire 4 quarters; showing equally matched teams and talent from both East and West.
